What it is
Your email is another way to log in and the only way to get a password reset link by email. A confirmed email also counts for the Road to Verified’s Email ring and for roles that require an email.
You can’t change your email after it’s added.
How to add your email
- In Settings, enter your email and choose Save my email. Open the link you receive to save it. You can also enter your password with your email.
- If you don’t have an email on your account, you can use the daily Add your email pop-up. You can close it; it will appear again the next Lagos day.
Rules & numbers
- A Save my email link lasts 48 hours.
- Your email isn’t saved until you open the link, so you can correct a typo before then.
- Once an email is saved, you can’t replace it.
- Settings shows your saved email partly hidden, with a 🔒 and no Change button.
- The daily pop-up appears 45 seconds into a session. It won’t appear while another sheet or the tour is open. Closing it counts as shown for that day.
Tips
- The link page tells you whether your email was saved or whether the link expired or couldn’t be used.
- If you need help, choose Ask the team on the login screen. Don’t post your email publicly.
