Signing up

What it is

You need a Lagos Life account to play. Your account has a public @username and a display name, plus a password, email address and date of birth.

How to sign up

1. Open lagoslife.app and tap Sign up.
2. Choose a username, display name and password.
3. Enter your email address.
4. Choose your date of birth and accept the Terms.
5. Complete the person check if it appears.

Rules & numbers

• Your username must be 3–20 letters, numbers or _. It must pass the word check and cannot be or look like a team name.
• Your display name can be up to 24 characters. It cannot look like a Lagos Life team name, such as “Lagos Life Announcements”.
• Password advice may appear, but it does not stop you signing up.
• Your email must be valid and cannot already be used on another account. It becomes the account email straight away and cannot be changed. Use an email address you can open.

Tips

• Write down your username. It is the @username you use to log in, not your display name.
