What it is
An EFCC file can lead to a raid or a court case. You may also receive an invitation to appear at the EFCC.
How to respond to an EFCC file
- Tap Phone → 🚓 Police → 📁 EFCC file open.
- You can optionally choose ⚖️ Hire a lawyer.
- If there is a raid, choose Cooperate 🤝 or Fight it in court ⚖️.
How to answer an EFCC invitation
- Tap the 📁 EFCC: answer by … chip.
- Within 24 hours, choose Appear at EFCC or Refuse. If you do not answer, it counts as appearing.
Rules & numbers
- A file stays open for 2–6 hours.
- On the main floor, a raid takes cash only: at most half of your spare cash. Top-up money is not taken.
- If you cooperate, the EFCC takes its share and closes the file.
- If you win in court, nothing is taken. If you lose or miss the court date, the EFCC takes 1.5×.
Tips
- Hiring a lawyer makes a raid much less likely.
