What it is
If you’re arrested and don’t pay the fine, you’ll stay in a cell for a few real minutes.
How to get out
- Pay bail from the jail banner on your phone, or tap Pay Bail in the cell.
- Ask your bae or a close friend to pay. They’ll see a Pay ₦… bail button in their messages.
- Use a cell lawyer for half the bail, call Daddy if you’re a nepo baby, or try to escape. You get one escape attempt; if you fail, your time increases.
Rules & numbers
- Your cell time is one-tenth of the charge sheet in real minutes, up to 6 minutes.
- Bail is 40% of the fine, adjusted for the time left. It’s at least ₦2,000 and at most ₦1,000,000.
- You can call Daddy once a week.
- You can’t pay bail while in EFCC custody.
- Bail you pay for a friend counts towards the ₦10m daily limit.
Tips
- If you can’t pay bail yourself, ask your bae or a close friend.
