Delete your account

• Your Sim, your money, your homes, your land, your cars and your businesses are gone for good.
• You're logged out everywhere and nobody can find you in the game. Notifications stop at once.
• Chats and posts other players have from you stay with them, shown as "Deleted player".
• You have 30 days to change your mind: just log in again and everything is back as it was.
• After 30 days your account and its data are deleted. Your @username stays reserved for 90 days after that.

Records the law or other players need are kept without your name on them: payments and receipts, money sent between players, election votes (with your id removed) and reports about safety.

In the game or the Vatar app: log in, then Phone → Settings → Account → Delete account.

On this website: log in to the game, then come back to this page: the delete button appears here.

Reset your password first: on the login screen tap Forgot password? and answer your owner questions. Then log in and delete the account as above.

Still stuck? Tap Can't get in? → Ask the team on the login screen, or use the report form (choose “Account problem”, give your @username and say you want it deleted). Once the team has checked it's yours, they help you back in so you can delete it.

Log in again within 30 days of asking and your account comes back exactly as it was. After 30 days it is deleted and can't be brought back, and your @username stays reserved for 90 days.
